Veronica received her professional diploma in cabinetmaking with honors from the Rosemont Technology Centre in Montreal. After moving back home to Halifax, she brought her experience in high-end cabinetry to her role as the wood studio technician and woodworking instructor at the Centre for Craft and NSCAD University, where she taught hundreds of beginners the foundations of woodworking, safe machine operation and design fundamentals.
Passionate about the craft of furniture-making, she loves sharing her knowledge with others in ways that prioritize fun, inclusivity and safety.

COURSE OFFERINGS
Hands-on experience, one-on-one care
All courses take place in Veronica’s home studio, located in Armdale, HRM. Equipped with high-end machinery, including a Sawstop tablesaw.
Note: the studio is not wheelchair accessible.
Class size is limited to two students, no previous experience necessary.
Classes are scheduled in 3-hour sessions.

Couples class for partners and friends!
You and your bestie will each make a small wooden bird and have fun learning how to use various woodworking tools.

Ukrainian Painted Eggs
In this class we will make an artistic journey through the ancient art of Pysanka-Ukrainian egg decoration.
Using traditional wax-resist and dye methods, each participant will make a beautiful egg decorated with their own design.
